In âThe Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him and Her,â the details and struggles of a marriage are portrayed from two perspectives in essentially two separate films. âHimâ tracks that relationship through the eyes of Conor (James McAvoy), while âHerâ makes Eleanor (Jessica Chastain) its focus. This week, the Toronto International Film Festival has been screening the movie, occasionally in reverse order, putting âHerâ first. In this video, Ms. Chastain speaks about her role and the dual requirements of playing her character in one film, and Conorâs impressions of her character in another.
