Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. Mr. de Blasio is joined by his wife, Chirlane, and their children, Chiara and Dante.

Rises early to begin a long day of campaigning â€" even by Mr. Liu’s frenetic standards â€" by heading to the Bronx to send off the family of Ramarley Graham and other supporters traveling to Washington, D.C., by bus to take part in a march commemorating the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. Mr. Graham was an unarmed teenager who was shot to death in his home by the police in February 2012. A criminal case against the accused officer was dropped earlier this month when a grand jury ruled there was not enough evidence to support a charge of manslaughter.

Greets participants preparing to embark on the “Anti-Gun Violence” Walk for Peace, which starts at 135th Street and circles St. Nicholas Park, in Harlem.

Attends the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Chinatown Immigration, Education and Health Fair, at the Confucious Plaza courtyard on the Bowery in Lower Manhattan.

12:50 p.m.
Attends his first of five Family Days today, at the New York City Housing Authority’s Redfern Houses, in Far Rockaway, Queens.

1:15 p.m.
Attends his second Family Day of the day, at the New York City Housing Authority’s Hammel Houses in Rockaway Beach, Queens.

1:50 p.m.
Attends the annual Jump and Ball Summer basketball tournament, hosted by State Senator Malcolm A. Smith and the rapper LL Cool J, at Daniel O’Connell Playground in St. Albans, Queens. Mr. Smith, a Democrat, was charged with bribery and extortion in April after trying to negotiate support to run as a Repubilcan candidate for mayor.

2:20 p.m.
Takes part in the sixth annual Sean Bell Family Day and “Ride for Justice,” at the Baisley Pond Park in South Jamaica, Queens. Mr. Bell was fatally shot by the police in 2006, hours before his wedding. The family day follows a car ride that passes by some of Mr. Bell’s favorite spots in the neighborhood before heading to a brief prayer ceremony at Nassau Knolls Cemetery in Port Washington, where Mr. Bell is buried.

Takes his first of two small-business tours of the day, starting on 39th Avenue in Flushing, Queens.

Takes his second of two small-business tours of the day, starting on White Plains Road in Parkchester, the Bronx.

Attends the Committee of 100 Democrats’ ninth annual free barbecue, on East 204th Street in the Bronx.

Attends his third Family Day of the day, at the New York City Housing Authority’s Castle Hill Houses in Castle Hill, the Bronx.

Attends his fourth Family Day of the day, at the New York City Housing Authority’s Lexington Houses on Lexington Avenue in East Harlem.

Attends his fifth and final Family Day, at the New York City Housing Authority’s Washington Houses on Second Avenue in East Harlem.

Joins in the festivities at the annual Chatpati Mela festival, an event to both celebrate and advocate for New York City’s South Asian community, in Jackson Heights, Queens. The festival will include performances by Dancing Reena, Farzana Popy, the Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts, Udichi and the Dance Theater of Nepal, and will also feature booths exhibiting South Asian culture, traditions and food.

8 p.m.
Speaks at a summer school graduation party, hosted by Masjid Al-Arapha, a Muslim house of worship, and drums up support by encouraging local community members to get out and vote, in Jamaica, Queens.

8:45 p.m.
Having given 47 graduation speeches earlier in the year, Mr. Liu finishes his day by speaking at the summer camp graduation ceremony for the American Bangali Hindu Foundation, a nonprofit educational and religious organization focused on the development of the Southeast Asian Hindu community, in Jamaica, Queens. Following the ceremony, Mr. Liu will attend a religious service and a short musical performance by local Bengali musicians.
